This type of therapy can really help people with chronic back pain find that relief that they may have been searching for, for years. All of the procedures that we apply are non-invasive. Which, means that we don’t do surgery. We can, however, help those people who have already had surgeries yet still have not found the relief that they are looking for. For the most part, the therapy consists of lightly stretching the spine through different methods in order to try and get it properly straightened out. It is very common to have pinched nerves in the spine that cause this type of pain!
Setting Up A Plan
If you scroll through the entire site you will find how much emphasis we put on finding the right type of treatment. If you come to a chiropractor and you sort of see that they don’t take the time to really explore your case and offer a possible solution you are probably in the wrong place. There is no one “magic massage” that is going to be able to cure all aches and pains. We have to find whether or not decompression therapy is right for you. Once we do we can then work on the type of treatment that we believe would be best to help your particular situation.
Can I Come In After Surgery?
The short answer to this is yes. Actually a lot of times we are going to be getting patients that were told by there doctors to come to us for post-surgery treatment. If you are going to decide to take up therapy on your own after surgery we would be more than happy to evaluate your case and find out what treatment would fit you. A lot of times people may get discouraged because we are going to ask them to wait a bit longer after surgery to get treatment. The reason we do this is to allow the body to heal completely from the surgery so that then we can go through a correct process of evaluation.
This is a very common form of treatment for issues with your spine, neck or even knees. This process involves applying small electrical discharges to specific parts of the body. What we are trying to get done in these cases is have certain muscles contract to ease the pain. It can also be a way to strengthen the muscles around a certain area. This can also help alleviate the pain over time.
It Is Going To Take Commitment
We have to be fully honest with our clients. Our goal is to try and provide a sense of relief from the first visit. This is something that we are fully committed to doing. In most of the cases where the patient is exhibiting chronic back pain, one session is not going to do the trick. Optimal results are going to be achieved only over time. If you are fully committed to your well being we can promise better results!
